Avoid adorning yourself with jewelry during strenuous physical exertions, intensive lifting activities, or in environments characterized by excessive heat and humidity.

Exposure to chlorinated water during swimming endeavors may prove detrimental to your pieces.

Solid gold is generally less likely to cause skin irritation or allergic reactions, especially when compared to jewelry made with base metals or plated with gold.

Yes. At Joulax, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every piece. That’s why we offer a 1-year warranty on all purchases to give you peace of mind to wear your jewelry.

Our warranty covers functional damage that occurs under normal wear, such as:

• Chain snapping or breaking
• Clasp malfunctions
• Loose or dislodged stones
• Faulty settings or connectors

This does not cover:

• Lost or stolen items
• Scratches, dents, or tarnish from general wear
• Damage from improper storage, handling, or impact
• Damage from water, chemicals, or perfumes
• Personalized or altered items (unless a defect was present at delivery)

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your piece qualifies under warranty:

1. Email us at hi@joulax.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos.
2. We’ll assess your claim and let you know next steps.
3. If approved, you’ll ship the piece back to us (we'll cover the shipping).
4. We’ll repair or replace it and return it to you as soon as possible.

Our jewelry is made to be worn, and we want it to last. If anything doesn’t hold up as it should, we’ll do what we can to make it right.

At Joulax, we prioritize customer satisfaction and aim to provide a seamless shopping experience. We offer free worldwide shipping for all orders. 

Except for ready-to-ship pieces, we require a production time of approximately 2 weeks. This duration is necessary to ensure that each item meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Following the production phase, local HK shipping takes an additional 2-3 days while international shipping typically takes an additional 3-5 days. We understand the anticipation that comes with waiting for a special piece, and we will keep you informed regarding the status of your order. Specifically, we will notify you in advance if your chosen item is ready to ship.

• We work with SF Express for local shipping.

US & Canada 

• Please allow 2 weeks for processing, plus 3-5 days shipping time.
• We work with DHL or UPS for US and Canada Shipping

If you are not sure about your order, you have 30-day window to return it, except rings, earrings or any customized items including engraving pieces.

If you like to exchange to something else, you also have 30-day window to do it, plus price differences and all local or international shipping costs. 

To qualify for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it: unworn, unused, and in its original packaging. We do not accept returns for items that have been worn, scratched, damaged, or are missing their original packaging. Additionally, we do not cover return shipping costs and are not responsible for items lost during return shipping. 

To initiate a return or exchange:

• Step 1: Email us at hi@joulax.com. We will provide you more information for your specific case.
• Step 2: Send the items to the address provided in the return instructions if it is accepted by us.
• Step 3: Notify us via email with the return tracking number. The shipping date must be within the 30-day return window.

Upon receiving and examining your return, we will email you a confirmation and approval. We will then process your refund to your credit card or original payment method within 30 business days depends on your bank or card policies.

Please check your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if any items are defective, damaged, or incorrect. This allows us to address the problem promptly. We are happy to repair or offer replacement for items due to manufacturing defeats, if you are happy to cover all the shipping cost. We regret that we cannot issue refunds for issues reported after 30 days.
